Answers to problems with "Hallo northern sky". Version 1.62 for Windows 3.1:
1) Help I get error messages that not all files are there:
Check if all ZIP files are unzipped. You will need:
Put them all in one directory/folder.
The different datafiles can be set via menu FILE, SETTINGS, LOCATION/TIMEZONE.
2) Help I get a message "Not a windows application".
Most likely you did not have BWCC.DLL. This file is included with the program.
3) Help which files do I need ? You will need 6 files minimum:
1) HNSKY.EXE
2) HNSKY.HLP
3a) SAC_1SKY.DAT (small) or 3b) SAC_2SKY.DAT (medium) or 3c) SAC_3SKY.DAT (large)
4a) SAO_HSKY.DAT (small version) or 4b) SAO_HSKY.DAT (large) or 4c) PPM_HSKY.DAT (very large)
5) BWCC.DLL
6) DEFAULT.HNS
1) , 2), 5) and 6) are in HNSKYP.ZIP
3a), 3b) and 3c) are in HNSKYD.ZIP
4a) is in HNSKYD1.ZIP
4b) is in HNSKYD2.ZIP
4c) is in HNSKYD3.ZIP
That means you need: HNSKYP.ZIP and HNSKYD.ZIP and HNSKYD1.ZIP
or: HNSKYP.ZIP and HNSKYD.ZIP and HNSKYD2.ZIP
or: HNSKYP.ZIP and HNSKYD.ZIP and HNSKYD3.ZIP
