Mac 10.14 access violation

Post by buzz » 11 Nov 2019, 10:11

Hi - I am having some difficulty with star alignment and tried the settings you proposed, without success. I closed the application and decided to work the problem and try a different and simpler star field, to prove it can work. Firing up ASTAP a second time, however, gave the following message:

Access Violation
Press OK to ingrore and risk data corruption. Press Abort to kill the program.

This is not on Mojave.
[update] - a reboot did not remove the issue, but a re-installation did.

Hello Chris,

Could you provide me with a image test set, so I can reproduce the error here?

Chris,

It id also possible there is a bad image used as reference image. Sort on HFD (click on HFD at HFD column) and double click on the image with the lowest HFD value to inspect it in the viewer. If bad, remove/rename it.

Han
