This will show only one frame. Any new SET_FRAME command will just move the existing frame around. I will ...

ASTAP v0.9.107

To all ASTAP users, ASTAP version 0.9.107 has just been released. This is a major release. The routines around the solver engine have been heavily modified. For the plate solver/ astrometric stacking it is no longer required to enter a magnitude range range. The program will extract automatically su...

Re: Using a mouse without a scroll-wheel

Good it is solved.

Feedback is rare but always welcome. Triggers me to rethink the setup. :)

I have done some mosaics but it still a lot of work. Using a wide angle lens is much easier.

Re: Using a mouse without a scroll-wheel

Hello Jim, I had a look to the code. First idea was to use ALT-Pgup/PgDown but it is a little messy to implement in the current mouse routine, so I'm a little reluctant to do it. Looking around there are a few programs around with can direct the keyboard to a wheel scroll. Maybe you could use that o...

Re: HNSKY/APT Mosaic

Hello Jim, Normally only one object is displayed in the map. The trick is to click is five times or more on the HOME button. After clicking on the SHOW button in APT, the rectangle send by back by APT is stored by HNSKY as five lines in supplement 2. Any new rectangle by APT causes HNSKY to replace ...

Re: HNSKY 4.0.0s AMD64.deb typing bug?

To bypass this problem, you could edit the configuration file in your home folder .hnsky\default_hnsky.hns and update your position there:

E.g:
longitude=-7.000
latitude=53.0000

Re: HNSKY 4.0.0s AMD64.deb typing bug?

Hello, That is a weird bug. I just checked it here under Lubuntu 18.xx, but I can't reproduce this problem. Does this also happens anywhere else like typing in the search window? I assume not. I expect there is a problem between the red circle in the map and the typed position. Normally the red circ...
