Re: Manual, one star
Here is happened because for one image there was no reference point was given. Before you hit the stack button, you have to double click on each image in the list and select the reference object. The name in the list turns then green. You will see the reference X,Y position far right in the list. Do...

Re: Manual, one star
Hello Serg, I see something similar here. Strange it worked in previous versions. I looks like I damaged something in the code. I also noted you have to selected method average. Will fix it this afternoon. I use this method exclusively for comets. I'm still working on improvements in colour stacking...

ASTAP v 0.9.152
ASTAP version 0.9.152 has been released. The new demosaic method "Malvar, He, Cutler" didn't work for stacking. This has been fixed in version 0.9.152. This demosaic method gives the best results and the lowest HFD. I tried some other methods but they performed worse for astro images. Clear skies, Han

To improve bright star colour, I'm working and testing new demosaic routines. In a few days I hope to have results

Re: Stacked colour fits
Hello Serg, When the images are rotated and stacked could have places where pixels are missing. These missing position tends to be dotted lines. Theoretical it is possible to calculate in fractions of pixels but this becomes pretty CPU intensive. If you have enough images maybe 10, all pixel positio...

Re: Stacked colour fits
Hello Serg, I only see it occurring when I stack the 10 sec and 60 sec images together. It doesn't happen if you stack the only the 10 sec series or the 60 sec image series. I assume the internal "black spot filter" is trying to eliminate some black spots which could occur if you combine a small amo...

Re: Stacked colour fits
Hello Serg,
If I stack 4 x 60 seconds, I don't see the tracks. I there a a way to get rid of them?

Re: Stacked colour fits
For a few images you better use "average stacking" unless these are satellite tracks. Try to keep one exposure time. I will have a look again to these lines. p.s I have added de-mosaic method based on "HIGH-QUALITY LINEAR INTERPOLATION FOR DEMOSAICING OF BAYER-PATTERNED COLOR IMAGESHenrique S. Malva...

Re: Stacked colour fits
Hello Serg, Fixed it in version 0.9.150. This version works with your images and de-Bayer as RG. I corrected a bug in my OSC code. I also overhauled the histogram. Now it shows colours. I have to do some more testing. Changed a lot in the code so be aware of bugs. The process is now: 1. de-Bayer. 2....
