Re: ASTAP aborted by invalid floating point operation

Hello Thomas, Sorry for the late response. I like to investigate. Could you reproduce the problem and provide me with some of your files for testing? -Can you load files your using in the viewer (double click on the file list) -Does it happen with all files. What happens if you select a few files on...

Re: Stacked colour fits

Hello Serg, The math is nicely described in the link. Maybe useful for the future. I do something similar for drizzle but with a different and mathematical a simpler approach. I split the pixels in 10x10 so 100 sub-pixels. Then by rounding of each sub-pixel position you will find the correct destina...

Re: Compilation on Linux

Hello Patrick, Unit hns_Upla.pas is copyrighted by the publisher since most code was taken from a book. I'm currently in contact with one of the authors and he is in favor of releasing the code under GPL3 but it is up to the book publisher to grant it. I hope to get soon, but the request is already ...

Re: Blink align images

Hello Serg, One image is maybe 80 degrees rotated. I removed a check for a valid solution which was causing problem. Secondly OSC images are difficult to solve prior to calibration and demosaicing. This is not done for blinking. Blinking with these RAW images only work if you first bin the images 2x...

Re: Blink align images

Hello Serg, I checked again here. For my test images it works, so I assume it can't match your images correctly. Maybe I have to add the possibility to bin2x2 the images first. Binning 2x2 is only applied for astrometric stacking but not for star matching at the moment. Sometimes changing the stack ...

Re: Blink align images

Hello Serg, Problem should be solved. It was mainly due to old solution files which are all relative to the first image in the list. Now I force a delete of the solution of any file added by the browser. There was also a mistake for 180 degrees images. that solution was ignored because it was negati...

Re: Blink align images

Hello Serg, If manual alignment is selected, the file names should turn red. Then double click on each file and select every time the same star in the viewer till all files are green. Then hit the stack button. Does this work for you? A round circle indicated good lock. A square a poor lock. After h...

Re: G17 index location and setup

1) The g17 files should be in the same directory as the executable. For Linux they should be all at location /opt/astap If the program is not complaining about missing files it should be okay. 2) Secondly the initial location of the image should be available. If your trying to solve FITS files the a...

Re: lay out

I has a similar but fixed problem with HNSKY. The latest compiler has a Hi-DPI option which should make the interface Hi-DPI adaptive. I have now compiled a version called 0.9.178a with this option. This should fix your problem. The original version didn't show any problem on 1080p or 1440p. So I ca...
