3)

Based on S&W 2/2001 by Wolfgang Steinicke. See also WWW.NGCIC.ORG

NGC2163 is also CED62

remove CED62 entry

add to NGC2163 PA=0

add to NGC2163 size 2x3 minutes.

add to ngc2163 magnitude 14

add to NGC2163 from CED62 decribtion Two_symmetrical_fans_extending_N-S

(For info NGC2163 position 6 07 49.62 +18 38 42.2 )

(NGC2163 is GSC 1317.311 or DG87 or LBN855 or GN 06.04 or LkH alpha 208)

(wrong in Millenium atlas but correct in new Uranometria, Deepsky field guide)

4) 2001-12-28

LMC Large magellanic cloud. Size 420x300. Best fit for amateurs based on photos and maps. Orientation PA=120 degrees for main bright part (the original 170 degrees for the H2 gas cloud is not very practical !)

5) 2002-5-26
